We provide customers with transparent pricing, 24/7 support, and convenient doorstep delivery of their medications.Position OverviewAs a Pharmacy Services Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for performing key functions in the prescription lifecycle up until the production/fulfillment step. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Prescription Verification: Ensure prescriptions are accurate and meet all regulatory and clinical requirements.Drug Utilization Review (DUR): Conduct thorough reviews to identify any potential drug interactions, contraindications, or other clinical concerns.Billing Rejection Processing: Address and resolve prescription billing issues by processing and correcting rejections in a timely manner. The Pharmacy Services team operates across multiple locations nationwide, and effective communication and collaboration are key components of success.Shifts AvailableW-Sat 12PM-10:30PMSun-W 12PM-10:30PM#everydaybetterKey job responsibilities

  • Accurately verify and validate prescriptions, ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Conduct comprehensive DUR to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
  • Process billing rejections and resolve any discrepancies with insurance or payers.
  • Maintain a high level of efficiency while meeting performance and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other pharmacy staff and healthcare providers to ensure best patient care.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy License in state of employment (additional licenses may be required)
  • Proficiency with basic computer functions and pharmacy systems
  • Exemplary interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations
  • Ability to manage high call volume while maintaining quality customer service

The base pay for this position ranges from $93,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $161,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
