About the Role

As a Remote Staff Pharmacist at Walmart, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and managing pharmacy operations. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, handling and accurately dispensing medication orders, administering vaccinations, and counseling patients on healthcare and medication requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Provide thorough patient care to individuals by handling and accurately dispensing medication orders, administering vaccinations, and counseling patients on healthcare and medication requirements
• Model, uphold, and provide guidance and direction to pharmacy associates on company policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure patient needs, concerns, and issues are effectively resolved
• Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas by reviewing and interpreting reports, implementing and monitoring loss prevention and safety controls, and providing guidance and direction on implementing company programs and strategic initiatives
• Maintain confidential information, documentation, and assigned records as required by company policies and local, state, and federal regulations

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP)
• Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
• Completion of an ACPE-accredited vaccination training program (e.g., APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:

• Previous experience as a staff pharmacist or in a related role
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, laws, and regulations
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
