Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Remote Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and processing customer orders, including selecting, packing, and shipping products
  • Managing inventory levels, including receiving and putting away stock
  • Using scanners to read bar codes on products and tracking inventory movements
  • Troubleshooting problems and ensuring that products meet quality requirements
  • Operating power industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts or pallet drivers, and working at heights up to 35 feet (equipment training and certification provided free of cost)
  • Lifting up to 49 pounds, pushing utility carts up to 60 pounds, and standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching during shifts
  • Using carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
  • Going up and down stairs (where applicable) and working at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable)
  • Adhering to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills and experience with data entry software
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, push utility carts up to 60 pounds, and stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
  • Ability to work at heights up to 35 feet and operate power industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts or pallet drivers
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
  • Knowledge of inventory management software and systems
  • Certification in forklift operation or other power industrial trucks
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
