As a Customer Care Advisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer experiences, primarily handling calls from Jamaica regarding potential warranty claims. Your professionalism and helpful attitude will be the first point of contact for many of our customers, making your role pivotal in shaping their perception of blithequark. The Role: Key Responsibilities

  • Dealing with incoming calls from customers in Jamaica, providing them with assistance and support regarding their warranty claims.
  • Accurately taking details from customers and ensuring that all necessary information is captured.
  • Communicating effectively with customers to ensure clarity and understanding, addressing their queries, and resolving their concerns.
  • Processing incoming and outgoing emails related to customer inquiries and claims.
  • Performing computer-based administration tasks as required.
  • Maintaining an acceptable level of product knowledge to effectively handle customer inquiries.

Essential Skills and Qualifications To succeed as a Customer Care Advisor at blithequark, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service.
  • An excellent telephone manner, with the ability to engage with customers and ensure a positive experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Motor Vehicle parts, although not essential, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel, with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data entry and customer communication.
  • The ability to work under your own supervision, taking direction when necessary.
  • A good sense of humor, which is essential for maintaining a positive and supportive demeanor.

A familiarity with or knowledge of Patois (Jamaican Dialect) could be beneficial, although it is not a requirement. We are committed to providing training and support to ensure your success in the role. Working Hours and Benefits This is a part-time position, with working hours varying between winter and summer schedules:

  • Winter working hours: Monday to Friday, 4:30 pm - 10:30 pm.
  • Summer working hours: Monday to Friday, 5:30 pm - 11:30 pm.

You will be entitled to 25 days of holiday, in addition to Jamaican Public Holidays, ensuring that your time off aligns with the holidays observed in Jamaica. You will be reporting to the Customer Care Director based in our Leeds office, although this role is remote. blithequark offers a competitive salary starting from £18,720.00 per annum, along with a range of benefits, including:
