Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing superior customer experiences to our card members through phone calls, while adhering to established procedures and guidelines. Your primary objectives will be to:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving customer queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Offer personalized solutions and recommendations to meet the unique needs of each customer, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer preferences, needs, and pain points, and leverage this knowledge to provide tailored benefits and services
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to workflows, procedures, and service levels
  • Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer satisfaction, first call resolution (FCR), and quality metrics
  • Adhere to quality and compliance guidelines, while taking quick decisions and responding to customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center or virtual support environment
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Customer-focused mindset, with a strong ability to solve customer issues and address service situations effectively
  • Demonstrated dependability, self-motivation, and change management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a hybrid or remote environment
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technology tools
  • Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCEP)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
