Job Summary

As an Experienced Call Center Representative – Patient Enrollment and Data Entry, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patient enrollment and data entry processes. You will be responsible for handling high-volume customer inquiries, resolving patient-related issues, and providing exceptional customer service. Your attention to detail, technical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities

* Utilize blithequark's solution information entry strategies and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the proper system.

  • Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
  • Investigate to obtain missing prescription data, decipher clinical abbreviations (SIG codes), and resolve all data entry-related exceptions.
  • Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and resolve outbound decisions to prescribers and patients as needed.
  • Resolve Out-of-Network Exceptions by inspecting, gathering data, making adjustments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements.
  • Make phone calls to guarantors and others to obtain data, gain supersede endorsement, or otherwise resolve Out-of-Network Exceptions.
  • Provide support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those in other areas, and recognize and convey issues to senior-level staff as necessary.
  • Obtain a dynamic pharmacist license or certification within the initial 90 days and maintain a current pharmacist license or certification.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • Basic computer skills (e.g., start and shut down computer, use mouse to point and click, start and shut down programs, switch between programs, save files, print reports, and access data online)
  • Basic web search skills (e.g., open a program, type in URLs in the correct field, use a search engine, bookmark a website, navigate using back/forward/stop buttons, and complete forms online)
  • Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing reports)
  • Ability to communicate in writing and verbally
  • 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications

* At least one year of pharmacy experience in a retail or call center environment

  • At least one and a half years as a pharmacy technician with a certification or enrollment by the state as granted by the State Board for Pharmacy or widely recognized certification agency
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction
  • Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, designing reports)
  • Familiarity with Spanish and English
