Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers who possess a policy through our clients. You will respond to requests via telephone regarding insurance and other financial service products and benefit plans, research and respond to requests, and discuss options regarding various aspects of the policy. This role requires a strong understanding of insurance and healthcare products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide service to customers who possess a policy through our clients by responding to requests via telephone regarding insurance and other financial service products and benefit plans

  • Research and respond to requests and discuss options regarding various aspects of the policy, such as status of claims, policy provisions, values, basic procedures, etc.
  • Exercise strong verbal, interpersonal, and Quality Service Skills to deliver exceptional service to customers
  • Support campaigns to increase revenue, generate sales, and conserve existing assets
  • Work in a team environment to improve the delivery of service to internal and external customers
  • Demonstrate ability to learn quickly and willingness to obtain functional knowledge and understanding of company products, as well as administrative, claims, underwriting, and marketing organizations

Essential Qualifications

* 1-2 years of call centre service experience is preferred

  • 2-3 years of customer service experience required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Superior telephone etiquette and ability to articulate ideas
  • Ability to understand and respond clearly to customers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment to improve the delivery of service to internal and external customers
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stress and think out of the box to generate innovative process improvements
  • Basic computer skills and strong solid math and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous call centre experience

  • Ability to work various shifts within hours of operation and flexibility to meet business needs
  • Previous experience in the insurance and healthcare industry

Compensation and Benefits

* Competitive hourly rate of $19.43 - $20.00 per hour
