We're seeking experienced Collection Representatives to join our team and help us manage our growing portfolio. As a 100% remote position, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere and enjoy a better work-life balance. Responsibilities:
As a Customer Account Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Contacting customers to determine the reason for payment delinquency and negotiating payments.
- Handling accounts with speed and accuracy while maintaining professionalism.
- Confirming and/or negotiating payment arrangements, researching any discrepancies.
- Completing phone calls to meet required performance standards and metrics.
- Maintaining established objectives for delinquency, repossessions, and net losses; staying informed of changes in policies and procedures.
- Using computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting.
- Documenting all accounts accurately, clearly, and concisely noting the reason for delinquency.
- Responding to customer inquiries with accurate information, professionalism, and integrity.
- Adhering to all state and federal laws in the handling of accounts.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Professional phone etiquette.
- Good follow-up skills.
- Persuasive negotiation skills.
- Microsoft Windows and Internet-based applications experience required.
- Basic typing/data entry skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work a five-day workweek, including some Saturdays.
Education & Experience:
We're looking for candidates with:
- High School or Equivalent Required.
- Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in business or related field may be used in lieu of experience.
- Prior experience in financial services or a similar industry preferred.
