Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing customer inquiries, and driving business growth through effective communication and relationship-building. You will work closely with our Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to the development of process improvements. Key Responsibilities

* Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, provide quotes, and handle order entry in a timely and professional manner

  • Place customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in (counter sales) while influencing gross profit through negotiating sale prices and purchase prices within certain parameters
  • Build customer relationships to drive repeat business by relating to customers and driving process improvements
  • Order items to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained for customers
  • Determine the most cost-effective shipping method for customer orders
  • Partner with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Expedite backorders and handle customer returns as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED required; zero to three years of related experience or an equivalent combination

  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Moderate computer skills, including information processing, communicating internally and externally via email, using business systems, and searching capabilities to find products on the internet
  • Product knowledge is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a sales or service environment

  • Knowledge of inventory management and order fulfillment processes
  • Familiarity with business systems and software applications
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
