Key Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Apply Advanced Analytical Methods: Utilize data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, and AI techniques to extract insights from large-scale, high-dimensional data sets and inform business decisions.
• Investigate Client Behavior: Analyze client preferences, viewing patterns, and other behavioral data to identify untapped client needs and untapped content opportunities.
• Predict Content Engagement: Develop predictive models to forecast content engagement and inform acquisition decisions.
• Optimize Content Launch and Episode Release Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven content launch and episode release strategies.
• Test Marketing Strategies: Design and execute experiments to measure the impact of marketing campaigns on engagement and retention.
• Develop New Metrics and KPIs: Design and implement new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance and inform strategic and operational decision-making.
• Provide Ad-Hoc Analysis Support: Provide specialized analysis support to partners across the organization to drive business growth.
• Communicate Insights Effectively: Present complex data insights in a clear, compelling, and visual manner to stakeholders across the organization.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Math, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field: A strong foundation in mathematical and statistical principles, as well as programming skills.
• At Least 3 Years of Data Analysis Experience: Proven experience in data analysis, data visualization, and statistical modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL and Experience in R or Python: Strong programming skills in SQL, R, or Python, with experience in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
• Experience in Statistical Analysis and AI Techniques: Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques, such as regression, clustering, and decision trees, as well as AI techniques, such as machine learning and deep learning.
• Strong Communication and Presentation Skills: Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

• Master's Degree in Data Science, Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field: Advanced education in data science, math, statistics, or computer science.
• Experience in Media and Entertainment: Familiarity with the media and entertainment industry, including content creation, distribution, and consumption.
