Job Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service via phone, email, and other communication channels, ensuring that every interaction is positive, efficient, and effective
  • Handling both incoming and outgoing calls in a contact center environment, utilizing your skills and knowledge to resolve customer inquiries and concerns
  • Demonstrating a high level of empathy, active listening, and problem-solving skills to build strong relationships with customers and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, including correspondence and transactions, in our database or shared systems as required
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless communication and effective issue resolution
  • Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on product and service offerings, and industry trends
  • Meeting or exceeding departmental targets and performance metrics, while maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines, including those related to data protection, confidentiality, and customer information

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, communications, or customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • A strong customer-centric approach, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a remote team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • A positive, can-do attitude, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset in this role:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a contact center environment
  • Knowledge of CRM software and other customer service tools
  • Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Service Manager (CCSM)
  • Experience working with diverse customer populations, including international customers
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and systems, such as salesforce or Zendesk
