Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our passengers, handling their queries, and resolving issues in a courteous and professional manner. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers, handling cash and credit transactions, and processing reservations and ticket sales. You'll also be responsible for checking in passengers, handling baggage, and resolving issues related to oversells, delayed or cancelled flights, and lost or damaged luggage.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to our passengers, handling their queries and resolving issues in a courteous and professional manner

  • Handle cash and credit transactions, process reservations and ticket sales, and balance daily transactions
  • Check in passengers, handle baggage, and resolve issues related to oversells, delayed or cancelled flights, and lost or damaged luggage
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve our goals and objectives
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to blithequark's standards and policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure in a dynamic and sometimes stressful environment
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience working in an airport or airline setting
  • Knowledge of airline operations and procedures
  • Ability to speak multiple languages
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
