Job Description

As a Remote Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will be responsible for transcribing information in a timely and accurate manner. Your primary duties will include:

  • Gathering and organizing the material from which you will work
  • Typing memorandums, reports, and other documents using stipulated word processing software
  • Preparing work in accordance with prescribed formatting guidelines
  • Proofreading assignments and amending mistakes before submission
  • Submitting completed work via email or online portal
  • Filing and storing copies of your completed assignments
  • Maintaining a record of completed tasks and logging hours worked
  • Remaining up-to-date with changes in pertinent word processing software

Responsibilities

  • Type memorandums, reports, and other documents using stipulated word processing software, such as Microsoft Office
  • Prepare work in accordance with prescribed formatting guidelines, ensuring that all documents are accurate and complete
  • Proofread assignments and amend mistakes before submission, maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Submit completed work via email or online portal, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  • File and store copies of your completed assignments, maintaining a secure and organized digital and physical filing system
  • Maintain a record of completed tasks and log hours worked, providing accurate and up-to-date information as required
  • Remain up-to-date with changes in pertinent word processing software, ensuring that you are proficient in the latest tools and technologies

Qualifications

To be successful as a Remote Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, but not required
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise documents
  • Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Attentive to detail, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, with a high level of independence and self-motivation
  • Own personal or laptop computer, with a reliable internet connection and a dependable cell phone connection

Additional Information

This position can be done entirely remotely, as long as you have access to a fast, reliable internet connection and a dependable cell phone connection. A quiet and uninterrupted work space will be needed, as well as a dedicated area for work and storage of files and equipment.
