Our Customer Support Center (CSC) is the backbone of our operation, and we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Remote Customer Service Representative to join our team.

Job Overview

As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch service to our customers, including individuals, families, small group employees, and brokers. Your primary responsibility will be to offer information, enrollment assistance, and support related to our health insurance plans and services. You will utilize our state-of-the-art eligibility and enrollment portal, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, and other systems to deliver high-quality service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to individuals, families, small group employees, and brokers via phone, email, or other communication channels
  • Assist customers with eligibility and enrollment for Medicaid and Qualified Health Plans on the Exchange
  • Utilize the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and CRM software to perform tasks and duties for HIX customers
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and blithequark's products and services to provide accurate and informative support to customers

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a resident of the state of Maryland
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of call center experience
  • Have a personal computer with an i5 processor or higher and a high-speed internet connection
  • Be available for a QC Interview with our client the week of September 16-20th and attend a Real Job Preview on September 27th
  • Pass a State Policy Exam with a score of 80% or higher

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the health insurance industry or a related field
  • Knowledge of health insurance plans, policies, and procedures
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service technologies
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills a plus
