Job Overview

As a Customer Service and Returns Associate at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, ensuring that their experiences at our Locker+ locations are nothing short of exceptional. You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, assisting customers with their orders, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise. Your goal will be to create a positive and personalized experience for each customer, leaving a lasting impression and encouraging loyalty to the blithequark brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, pick, and stow customer orders, process returns, and prepare for delivery in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist customers with questions and concerns, providing clear and concise information and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work through problem-solving scenarios for customers, using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to de-escalate any conflicts and find solutions
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to blithequark's high standards for safety and quality
  • Manage responsibilities for a Locker+ location, including opening and closing the site, and ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently
  • Use technology such as smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders, as well as to communicate with customers and colleagues
  • Receive truck deliveries and ensure that all packages are handled and stored correctly

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable with technology and have basic computer skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to five hours, and use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around.

Essential Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines in English
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and adapt to changing situations and priorities
  • Basic computer skills and comfort with technology, including smartphones and handheld devices
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to five hours, and use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
