Experienced Customer Engagement Specialist – K-12 Education Industry

We're looking for an energetic and forward-thinking Customer Engagement Specialist to join our team at blithequark, a leading educational support system (ESS) for K-12 schools across North America.

The Opportunity

As a Customer Engagement Specialist at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in promoting our brand and driving student adoption across the nation. You'll lead workshops and informational sessions, facilitate teacher enablement trainings, and nurture relationships with key Paper champions and teachers on the ground. Responsibilities:

* Lead workshops and informational sessions that build excitement and spread blithequark brand awareness across district communities

  • Facilitate teacher enablement trainings that educate teachers and administrators about blithequark implementation at the classroom and site level
  • Grow and nurture relationships with key blithequark champions and teachers on the ground by providing them with the most up-to-date resources
  • Help expand our grassroots approach to experiential teacher education and district-wide engagement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement engagement strategies
  • Analyze data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of engagement initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement

Required Qualifications:

* 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in education

  • Working knowledge of K-12 education industry
  • Laptop and phone that can be used for work purposes (developing slide decks, presenting to districts, communicating cross-functionally)
  • Proficient in using Twitter and staying current on social media platforms and trends
  • Outgoing individual with strong communication skills who is energized by engaging with customers, especially teacher and parent communities
  • High energy and ability to build excitement with customers
  • Self-starter who loves a challenge and a strong team player who loves to collaborate

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience leading professional development within a district

  • Experience leading virtual gamified events within a school district

Compensation & Benefits:

* Competitive salary

  • $35/hour for your prep and facilitation time
  • Ability to keep all travel points for hotels booked for work-related travel
  • Mileage reimbursement may be available for applicable travel
