Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Field Technician with blithequark, your primary duties will include:

  • Performing startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance on blithequark equipment, including:

+ Static transfer switches + Power distribution equipment + Remote power panels

  • Providing customer support while on-site and via email and phone
  • Maintaining timely and detailed service records in the blithequark system
  • Providing emergency responses for critical incidents
  • Regularly scheduled time slots for 1-844-855-5977 blithequark 24/7 incident response

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Service experience with electric power systems – Required
  • Electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills – Required
  • Ability to read diagrams and schematics – Required
  • Familiarity with programming printed circuit boards via PC-based programs – Required
  • Safety awareness and electrical PPE knowledge – Required
  • Associate degree in electrical field – Preferred
  • Electronics or electrical training from military service – Preferred
  • Clean driving record – Required
  • US Citizenship or C1 Permanent Resident Alien status – Required

Work Location and Travel

As a remote field technician with blithequark, you will be required to travel to customer sites throughout the US and Canada. Training will be conducted at blithequark Headquarters in Aurora, Ohio. At times, weekend or possibly holiday work will be required.
