As a Lead, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, managing production flow, and leading a team of consultants to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Retail Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer interaction is friendly, polite, and expert
  • Managing production flow to ensure all production orders are completed on time and to the highest quality standards
  • Taking customer orders, giving pricing information, performing consultative selling, and recommending blithequark products and services
  • Tracking and logging all production jobs, ensuring accurate and timely completion
  • Leading a team of consultants, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure seamless operations
  • Assisting in the training of new team members, ensuring they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service
  • Operating the Point of Sale terminal (POS), handling financial transactions, and making change
  • Completing required financial paperwork and assisting with financial reporting, including daily sales, close-outs, and bank deposits
  • Following instructions from supervisors and assisting other team members in performing store functions
  • Following blithequark standard operating procedures, as well as adhering to legal, HR, safety, and security policies and procedures
  • Secondary responsibility for coordination of all shipping-related services and activities, including:

+ Providing customer service by determining appropriate shipping methods, informing customers of company products, services, routes, and rates + Ensuring quality customer service is given to customers by providing packaging services and offering information about company products and services + Offering assistance to customers by suggesting appropriate shipping methods + Maintaining inventory of shipping supplies + Assembling parcels and preparing goods for shipping by wrapping items in insulation, inserting items into shipping containers, weighing packages, and affixing labels to parcels

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent education

  • 2+ years of specialized experience in customer service, retail, or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods
  • Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to bend/twist at the waist and knees
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the blithequark business

  • Experience with FedEx Office products and services
  • Knowledge of shipping and logistics procedures
  • Ability to work in a team environment and lead a team of consultants
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
