Key Responsibilities
As a Ticket/Gate Agent, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our airport operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers and providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive travel experience
- Checking in customers and processing their travel documents, including boarding passes and baggage tags
- Operating loading bridges and opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors
- Escorting unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport
- Tagging and lifting baggage from scales to conveyor belts (up to 70 pounds)
- Making gate announcements and ensuring customers have accurate travel documentation

What You Need to Succeed
To be successful as a Ticket/Gate Agent, you'll need:
- A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
- Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States
- Proficiency in English
- Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation
- Basic digital literacy
- Ability to pass a physical ability test (PAT) and customer service assessment
- Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal
