Unique HR Generalist opportunity to advance your career through a wide diversity of cultures, industries, and jurisdictions! Join a team that believes small businesses deserve Fortune 500 level HR support, without the corporate red tape or six/seven-figure budget. About Amplified HR Amplified HR is a boutique HR consulting firm that removes the HR burden from small business owners so they can focus on growth without worrying about compliance or costly lawsuits. Our unique model blends flexibility and autonomy with deep client partnerships. We offer challenging work, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to make a real difference among client teams. We’re open to part-time or full-time applicants, but we’re looking for someone who’s in it for the long haul, not a short-term gig. This is a tough job with a steep learning curve and extensive training program and we are very discerning about who joins our small team. Our next HR Advisor will... ✅ demonstrate strong foundational knowledge and expertise in employment law, HR compliance, and employee relations; ✅ display excellent written and verbal communication - you can translate complex HR topics into clear, relatable guidance; ✅ be tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems; ✅ epitomize critical thinking, expertly utilize research skills, and take advantage of all available resources to solve problems and offer accurate and compliant guidance; ✅ be humble, coachable, and adaptable; ✅ commit to exceptional organizational skills, extraordinary discipline and time management abilities, and an incredibly high attention to detail and urgency; ✅ possess a service-oriented mindset, always thinking about how to amplify support for clients. Bonus points for: ⭐ Experience drafting policies or employee handbooks ⭐ HRCI or SHRM certification and/or higher education in HR or employment law ⭐ Social media or content creation skills - we would love to add more HR educators to our socials Some of the day-to-day stuff... Support clients through a high volume of email and phone communication Research employment laws and summarize key points for client application Document client interactions accurately in our ticketing system Provide options and guidance that align with each client’s risk tolerance Collaborate with our team to create policies, training, and HR resources Maintain your composure and stress levels when you have 10 demanding and time-consuming requests coming at you at once - investigations, performance improvement plans, offer letters, FMLA paperwork... M-F 8am-5pm CST (hour lunch) with a weekend rotation once every 5 weeks (2ish daily hours Saturday and Sunday) What's in it for you: Paid Holidays, Paid Sick, Paid Time Off, and your Birthday Off (paid) Health, Dental, and Life Insurance Work remotely, with flexibility, so long as client and team needs are met Fun, collaborative work environment - laughing together and have each others' back is absolutely expected and required! Pay is commensurate upon experience and education with a wide range based on the amount of training and development required. What you absolutely need to know before you apply:

  • This is not a fluff job. It requires you to do tough legal research, double and triple check your research, confirm all email communication is absolutely accurate, follow all systems and procedures 100% with integrity, and hold yourself to the absolute highest standard of performance all day every day. All while juggling dozens of client requests and other tasks.
  • Mistakes are expected, but apologies are discouraged. Just learn from them, move on, and do your best not to repeat them.
  • You must be willing to hold your teammates accountable - if you see a mistake, you must be willing to call it out in a respectful, but direct way.
  • You can't take yourself too seriously and you absolutely must have a thick skin. We see a LOT in this job - offensive images, words, behavior - it's part of it.

If you’re looking for a meaningful HR career where you’ll grow fast, make an impact, and love the people you work with, this may be a great fit for you. Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
