SAP Solution Architect

Remote · USA Full-time New today
We support our customers in making buildings more climate-friendly, more comfortable and more affordable – with connected real estate, simple products and high processing and service quality. We provide our customers with efficient, tailored processes and applications for operating IoT infrastructures in real estate, as well as our flexible Enterprise-IoT-Suite, in which we manage data from many millions of sensors into intelligent products and services.
  • Independently design, document, maintain and further develop enterprise-wide SAP solution architectures end-to-end, always aligned with business strategy.

  • Analyse complex business requirements, and translate them into robust technical or architectural solutions for SAP (e.g. in S/4HANA, integrations, process flows).

  • Architect, design, and lead integration of SAP with non‑SAP systems (APIs, hybrid cloud/on‑premise, interfaces) and manage the integration landscape.

  • Create and enforce governance, standards, architectural best practices, quality assurance, and non‑functional requirements (security, performance, scalability).

  • Develop roadmaps, blueprints or transition architectures, plan for cloud/cloud migrations or transformations (S/4HANA, cloud, BTP).

  • Participate in technical oversight and reviews. Support strategic decision-making through prototypes, proof of concepts, and well-founded technical evaluations.

  • Actively contribute to reviews and architecture boards while continuously monitoring technology trends to bring innovative impulses into the SAP strategy.

  • Lead and guide implementation and project teams, ensuring that delivered solutions are consistent with the defined architecture and providing coaching and mentoring where needed.

We are searching for a motivated candidate with following qualifications:
  • Relevant educational background (e.g. computer science, information systems, engineering) or equivalent experience.

  • Fluent in English and German (C1 or better) and based in northern Germany.

  • Strong experience with SAP (S3R & S/4HANA) and knowledge of multiple SAP modules (e.g. Finance & Controlling, MM, SD, PP) and integrations.

  • Proven track record in leading full-cycle SAP implementations and designing scalable solution architectures.

  • Good knowledge of cloud technologies (private/public cloud, hybrid), SAP cloud offerings (SAP BTP, RISE, etc.) and/or experience with cloud migrations.

  • Strong integration skills: dealing with interfaces, APIs, connecting SAP and non‑SAP systems.

  • Good knowledge of cloud technologies and SAP cloud offerings such as BTP and RISE, including migration projects.

  • Familiarity with architecture frameworks and non-functional requirements such as security, scalability, and governance, documentation and best practices.

  • Experience in international and agile environments
