As a Lead Retail Customer Service Associate, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with customers, colleagues, and management to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Retail Customer Service Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert guidance and support to customers, ensuring a positive and personalized experience
  • Leading a team of dedicated professionals, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure exceptional performance
  • Managing production flow, ensuring all production orders are completed on time and to the highest standards
  • Taking customer orders, giving pricing information, and performing consultative selling to customers
  • Recommending FedEx Office products and services, ensuring customers receive the best possible solutions for their needs
  • Operating equipment that requires advanced operational knowledge and expertise, including digital imaging, scheduling, and running black and white or color production on full-service orders
  • Ensuring quality during and after the production process, maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail
  • Communicating effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members, providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Assisting in the training of store team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Collaborating with management to reduce company costs and optimize profitability in areas of responsibility
  • Applying Quality concepts presented at training during daily activities, supporting blithequark's Quality initiatives

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • 2+ years of specialized experience in customer service, retail, or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members
  • Ability to stand during entire shifts, excluding meal and rest periods
  • Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
  • Ability to bend/twist at the waist and knees on a consistent basis
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure, with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
  • Ability to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the blithequark business

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results
  • Knowledge of Quality concepts and principles, with experience applying them in a retail or customer service environment
  • Experience working with customers, vendors, and other team members in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to think critically, solve problems, and make decisions in a timely and effective manner
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Experience working with technology, including point-of-sale systems, digital imaging equipment, and other retail software
