Job Summary

As an Experienced Data Ops Analytics Engineering Specialist at blithequark, you will play a critical role in driving business insights and decision-making through data-driven solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data ingestion and processing pipelines, as well as ensuring data quality and governance. Your expertise will be essential in driving business outcomes and improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop data ingestion and processing pipelines to drive business insights and decision-making

  • Implement best practice data modeling strategies to deliver business-relevant data models
  • Create and maintain data quality standards and governance policies
  • Drive execution improvement and flexibility of data plans and design strategies
  • Ensure that the design stage fully supports the broader analytics engineering team's needs
  • Support cross-functional team collaboration on data projects
  • Oversee external relationships on behalf of data projects

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • At least 2 years of experience in data/exalytics engineering in a private, public, government, or military setting
  • Strong understanding of data analytics concepts, statistical analysis, and data visualization
  • Knowledge of coordination tools like IICS, Wind current, Oozie, or DBt for workflow management
  • Experience with big data technologies and distributed computing systems
  • Solid critical thinking skills and ability to work with large and complex datasets
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders
