As an Experienced Field Service Manager – Airline Operations and Customer Support, you'll play a critical role in leading high-performing teams of Airline stewards, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and driving business growth through strategic leadership and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Field Service Manager – Airline Operations and Customer Support, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with leaders and Airline stewards to drive labor force commitment, responsibility, and adaptability
  • Leading the performance-based management of large teams of Airline stewards on KPIs such as safety, reliability, customer satisfaction, and more
  • Advancing health, wellness, and a safe work environment through proactive initiatives and best practices
  • Ensuring and addressing Quality Assurance issues such as uniform compliance, overall performance, and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborating with base support staff, departments, and internal/external partners to provide information and solutions for continuous improvements in base functional requirements and staff or managerial issues
  • Participating in leadership flying programs, including board customer and representative engagement while supporting Airline steward teams
  • Proactively addressing and following up on time-sensitive matters and competing needs requiring base communication, input, and feedback
  • Providing essential support to Airline stewards before, during, and after flight departure
  • Serving as a contact and support for assigned projects within the base and department
  • Discussing regularly with remote Airline steward labor force from base location
  • Embodying blithequark's Standards of the Street and guiding principles

What You Need to Succeed

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • The ability to manage multiple and changing needs in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • The ability to handle confidential information with exceptional skill, caution, and discretion
  • Proven critical thinking skills in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment
  • Experience in training and delivering feedback for developmental purposes
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, as well as time management skills
  • Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to complete initial Airline steward training and maintain certifications

What Will Give You an Edge

While not required, the following qualifications will give you an edge in this role:

  • Two years of experience in In-Flight Administration, three years of Delta experience, or equivalent administrative experience
  • Four-year college education
  • Working knowledge of internal Delta-specific applications
