Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Recruiter for Customer Service, you'll be responsible for the following key duties:

  • Conduct full-cycle recruiting for various positions within the organization, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for customer service roles
  • Source and attract candidates using a variety of methods such as job boards, social media, and networking
  • Review resumes and applications to determine candidate qualifications and assess their fit for our organization
  • Conduct phone screens and interviews to assess candidate fit and provide recommendations to hiring managers
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and provide guidance and support throughout the recruitment process
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand position requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings as needed
  • Extend job offers and negotiate terms of employment

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business field preferred
  • Proven experience as a Recruiter or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and maintain a high level of accuracy in your work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, with a strong commitment to customer service excellence

Essential Skills and Competencies

To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential skills and competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including Title VII, ADA, and FLSA
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and their use in recruitment
  • Experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and practices
  • Certification in recruitment or human resources, such as SHRM-CP or HRCI
