Job Summary

As a Remote Customer Support Specialist at blithequark, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients via phone and email. You'll work from the comfort of your own home, using your own equipment, and will be required to pick up your equipment on your first day of work at our Lake Forest, CA location. Our team is dedicated to helping our customers resolve their technical issues, and we're looking for someone who shares our passion for customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

* Receive and respond to consumer calls and emails regarding problems, installation instructions, and general product information

  • Answer high-volume incoming technical support calls with tact, diplomacy, and a strong customer service orientation
  • Offer knowledge and guidance to consumers, directing them to the proper source if necessary
  • Handle a strong volume of calls with ease, using your technical mindset and willingness to learn
  • Complete information on computer screens with pertinent data while working with consumers over the phone
  • Respond to consumer repairs and requests according to Consumer Service procedures
  • Evaluate product problems, determine if products need to be scrapped or repaired, and assist consumers with product features and models as requested by the Consumer Service supervisor

Essential Qualifications

* At least one (1) year of experience in a product-based customer support function and/or call center environment (preferred but not required)

  • Previous experience in the hardware and home improvement industry (preferred)
  • Technical mindset and willingness to learn
  • Type 35+ WPM
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish or French (a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

  • Familiarity with computer software for data input and retrieval
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
