Job Role

As a Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher at blithequark, you will be responsible for handling inbound phone calls for scheduling service and maintenance for our Residential Department. Your daily duties will include:

  • Maintaining our customer database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Making daily outbound phone calls to customers and technicians to confirm appointments and provide updates
  • Routing technicians based on location, ensuring efficient and timely service delivery
  • Maintaining a positive team atmosphere with all members of the dispatch team
  • Collaborating with other departments to resolve customer issues and concerns

Schedule

Our Customer Service Representatives/Dispatchers work a flexible schedule, with a mix of remote and in-office days. Your schedule will be as follows:

  • Wednesday: In the Chantilly office from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with a one-hour lunch break)
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: Remote work from home from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with a one-hour lunch break)

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous call center experience, with at least one year of experience in a similar role
  • The ability to type at a speed of approximately 70 words per minute
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle high call volumes and work independently
  • Familiarity with main cities and locations in Northern Virginia
  • The ability to accurately document information into our customer database (Service Titan)

As a remote worker, you will need to provide:

  • High-speed internet access
  • A quiet workspace with minimal background noise
  • A reliable laptop and cell phone (provided by blithequark)
