Role Overview

As an Experienced Virtual Assistant / Airbnb Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and assisting with various aspects of our short-term rental business, including:

  • Guest and reservation management: You will be the primary point of contact for our guests, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless experience from booking to check-out.
  • Virtual property management: You will work closely with our property owners and managers to coordinate housekeeping, arrange amenities, and provide accurate information about our properties and neighborhoods.
  • Cleaner management, scheduling, and coordination: You will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating with our cleaning team, ensuring that our properties are always clean and ready for our guests.
  • Addressing guest issues and resolving them in a timely and efficient manner: You will be the go-to person for resolving any issues that may arise during a guest's stay, working closely with our property owners and managers to find solutions that meet our guests' needs.

Key Responsibilities

* Guest and reservation management: + Respond to guest inquiries in a timely and efficient manner + Resolve guest issues and concerns in a professional and courteous manner + Process reservations and ensure accurate information is provided to guests

  • Virtual property management:

+ Coordinate with property owners and managers to ensure properties are clean and ready for guests + Arrange amenities and services as needed + Provide accurate information about properties and neighborhoods to guests

  • Cleaner management, scheduling, and coordination:

+ Schedule and coordinate with cleaning team to ensure properties are clean and ready for guests + Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard

  • Addressing guest issues and resolving them in a timely and efficient manner:

+ Respond to guest issues and concerns in a timely and efficient manner + Work closely with property owners and managers to find solutions that meet guests' needs

Success Metrics

* Maintain a quick response rate to all inquiries (less than 1 hour)

  • Resolve all guest issues with a high sense of urgency in less than 3 hours or ASAP
  • Contribute to a review rating of 4.8 or higher

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of customer service experience

  • 2+ years of vacation rental customer service or hotel experience
  • Must be available to work during normal U.S. business hours

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Airbnb customer service

  • Ability to work with multiple technology platforms in a fast-paced environment and learn new technologies as needed

* Tech-savvy: Proficient in using technology to manage guest communications, reservations, and property management tasks

  • Strong verbal, written, and reading of the English language: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Extreme attention to detail: Meticulous in ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks and responsibilities
  • Outstanding customer service: Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and efficient manner
  • Excellent typing, including speed and accuracy: Proficient in typing and able to meet deadlines
  • Creative problem solver: Think outside the box to find solutions to guest issues and concerns
  • Independent thinker: Able to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
  • Strong decision-making skills: Make informed decisions that meet the needs of our guests and property owners
  • Excellent at following directions: Able to follow instructions and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in all tasks and responsibilities
  • Conflict resolution experience: Experience in resolving conflicts and issues in a professional and courteous manner
