Work Schedule and Clearance

As a remote Customer Service Representative, you will work 100% from home, with a flexible schedule that allows you to balance your work and personal life. To ensure the security and integrity of our operations, all candidates must undergo a background check and fingerprinting process to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to retired members and their families, addressing their concerns, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all calls are handled efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with our high standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage inbound calls in a timely manner, following call center scripts when handling different topics

  • Research participant accounts to provide accurate and efficient responses
  • Address basic questions or issues, keeping accurate records of all conversations
  • Meet contractual qualitative and quantitative targets, performing tasks associated with call handling, including basic plan and participant file research and updates
  • Provide an accurate and efficient response, keeping accurate records of all conversations and meeting contractual qualitative and quantitative targets
  • Facilitate clear and accurate exchange of information to callers, ensuring quality and accuracy of tasks

Essential Qualifications and Skills

* At least six (6) months to one (1) year of experience minimum working in an office setting taking inbound calls

  • Demonstrated typing/keyboard skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to facilitate clear and accurate exchange of information to callers
  • Quality and accuracy of tasks

* Previous experience in a customer service or call center environment

  • Knowledge of government benefits and policies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software applications
