As a Data Entry Clerk – Alternate Investments Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our trade, transfer, and reconciliation processes. You will work closely with our Retail and Institutional Service Teams to process customer transactions, resolve issues, and maintain relationships with external partners. Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk – Alternate Investments Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identifying/ addressing breaks recognized between blithequark and the fund companies or transfer agents
  • Processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling/reconciling transactions, and processing/reconciling returns activity
  • Executing analysis of complex/escalated issues, testing/validation of new innovation enhancements, and provider modifications
  • Completing projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly influence the Client/Advisor profile
  • Engaging with Retail and Institutional Service Teams using email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce
  • Interacting with and embodying blithequark's values in daily connections with fund companies, transfer agents, opposite agencies, and other external business partners

Duties Analysis

Your duties will include:

  • Reviewing subscription deals or transfer requests
  • Identifying and addressing client/Advisor amount exceptions
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
  • Reconciling Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks
  • Reconciling across BOS and Fund Companies
  • Reviewing and analyzing correct tax coding and corrections of income tax coding
  • Troubleshooting internal/external system improvements or concerns
  • Identifying the root cause of breaks between blithequark, the Fund, etc.
  • Providing method or innovation service alternatives to Management
  • Remediating transfer issues with the Fund or Opposite Firm
  • Providing follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite the customer demand or remediate not neat issues
  • Prompt and accurate finalization of client investing and dividend demands

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience in the financial industry or a related field
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools
  • Certification in data entry or a related field
