Security Principal Researcher
Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security sector, is seeking a Principal Security Researcher to join their team. As a Principal Security Researcher, you will be part of the Security Research Department supporting advanced security initiatives and vulnerability discovery. The ideal candidate will have analytical thinking, strong collaboration skills, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization. - Lead security research efforts focused on Linux-based, open-source Network Operating Systems deployed in networking hardware
- Identify and evaluate vulnerabilities in complex environments, including applications and underlying OS components
- Develop innovative security tools and techniques to test and improve system security
- Collaborate with penetration testing teams to drive impactful security enhancements for cloud-based clients
- Contribute to security research blogs and technical publications to share insights and findings
What's Needed?
- Over 15 years of experience in security research, vulnerability discovery, and security initiatives
- Proficiency with fuzzing tools such as AFL++, libFuzzer, Honggfuzz, and Sulley
- Strong programming skills in Python and PowerShell; working knowledge of C/C++ and Bash
- Experience with Linux, SONiC, ARM, x86 architectures, Proxmox, and pfSense platforms
- Expertise in penetration testing, application fuzzing, and container escape techniques
