Inventory Analyst- Topo; HYBRID

The Opportunity Inventory Analyst As an Inventory Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in managing and optimizing the flow of inventory, ensuring we maintain the right products and stock levels to fulfill customer orders. You’ll be the go‑to expert for inventory accuracy, partnering with teams across Operations, Demand Planning, Customer Service, and our warehouses to keep data clean, processes smooth, and insights actionable. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll be the guardian of inventory integrity and the connector between data and decisions. Here’s how you’ll make an impact: Inventory Accuracy & Audits

  • Lead regular inventory audits and reconciliations, identifying variances between system records and physical counts—and driving corrective action.
  • Validate daily fulfillment and order releases to ensure outbound shipment data matches system inventory.

Returns & Stock Movement

  • Oversee return workflows by reviewing daily RMA activity, partnering with 3PL and Customer Service to resolve discrepancies, and improving return processes.
  • Process inventory receipts and execute transfers in Net Suite to maintain accurate stock distribution based on forecasted demand.

Data Stewardship

  • Own item data creation and maintenance (UPCs, labels, SKU lists, warehouse setup) for consistency across systems.
  • Maintain and enhance inventory dashboards in Net Suite Analytics Warehouse, recommending improvements based on user needs.

Reporting & Insights

  • Prepare inventory flow sheets multiple times per week, identify outliers in pre‑season booking data, and collaborate with Customer Service to resolve issues.
  • Monitor stock levels and highlight opportunities for end‑of‑lifecycle inventory.
  • Use BI tools (NSAW) to analyze stock position, turnover, and aging; present inventory insights and KPIs to cross‑functional partners.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Support Demand Planner with data for factory buys; participate in monthly buy meetings.
  • Join monthly warehouse calls, quarterly freight‑forwarder calls, and other third‑party meetings as the inventory subject matter expert.
  • Manage Operations inbox inquiries, routing tasks and ensuring timely follow‑up on inventory‑related issues.

Skills

  • Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, data analysis functions).
  • Strong analytical ability and retail math proficiency; capable of translating data into clear communication.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and systems accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience

  • 2+ years in manufacturing, supply chain, or inventory‑focused roles.
  • 1+ year working in a common ERP system like Net Suite (preferred), SAP, Sage, or similar.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred

  • 1+ years of direct Net Suite experience.
  • Experience with BI tools (NSAW preferred), Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Prior experience as an Inventory Analyst/Specialist or similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
