[Remote] University Direct Hire Program - Technology

Synchrony is a leading financial services company, and they are seeking candidates for their Tech University Partnership Direct Hire Program. This program offers full-time job opportunities for candidates who have completed an internship in Technology, focusing on areas such as Mobile App Development, Information Security, and Artificial Intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time job opportunities for candidates who have successfully completed at least one internship within the Tech & Operations function at Synchrony
• Engage in Mobile App Development & Project Management, Information Security Forensics & Incident Management, Innovation & Emerging Technology, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, and API Development
• Participate in Leadership, Experiential, and Technical Training

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Information Assurance, or Cyber security is preferred — additional technical majors or other relevant majors with technical concentration may be applicable
• Excellent academic record – Minimum overall 3.0 GPA or higher
• Participation in a Synchrony Internship (i.e. ETC, DTC, BLP)
• You must be 18 years or older
• You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
• You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening

• Strong technical and analytical skills, coupled with sharp business acumen
• Relevant internship or co-op or work experience
• Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead projects of varying scope
