WooCommerce & WordPress Developer - WP Overnight

We have an exciting opportunity for a Web Developer to join WP Overnight - part of the Team Updraft family. To be successful in this role you will have deep knowledge of WooCommerce and a passion for developing WordPress. PHP and JavaScript are also a must. You will have the option to choose your own hours up to 40 per week, and you can work remotely from anywhere in the world, we simply ask that you have 4 hours of crossover with UK working hours per day. ————————————————————– Developer (WordPress/WooCommerce) Competitive Salary (depending on experience) Fully Remote We have an exciting opportunity for a Web Developer with excellent WooCommerce, WordPress, PHP and JS experience to help further develop WP Overnight WooCommerce plugins - https://wpovernight.com/ The Job You will be responsible for working on our website and WooCommerce related plugins, working together with a small, global team involved in development and testing. The day-to-day role
- Collaborate with the team on our codebase to implement new features, bug fixes and improvements
- Work in PHP, JavaScript and WordPress libraries to write clean, efficient and secure code
- Write inline documentation for your code
- Test and produce testing guides for your code
- Manage your own time to fulfil your tasks
- Research / debug problems on your own or in collaboration with other developers and our support team
Your exact responsibilities will depend on your experience and how this fits with the work being done by other members of the team.
Requirements
You’ll definitely need experience with:
- PHP – with experience of the latest frameworks and libraries.
- WordPress plugin development.
- WooCommerce development.
- JavaScript.
It would be nice if you have experience with:
- GitHub / GitLab / Git – nice to have, but can be learnt quickly by good developers used to alternatives like SVN.
- React.
- JQuery.
