Key Responsibilities

As an Independent Contractor with blithequark, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of programs and projects, providing exceptional customer service to our clients' customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting inbound and outbound customer service calls with customers
  • Creatively problem-solving to resolve customer issues
  • Quickly assessing customer needs and providing sound solutions
  • Providing a high-level of customer service
  • Documenting details of all calls and customer interactions
  • Managing through multiple systems, programs, and screens simultaneously

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as an Independent Contractor with blithequark, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong computer skills, including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems
  • Basic typing skills
  • Comfortable empathizing and remaining patient with difficult callers

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience handling inbound and outbound calls
  • Previous experience working in a call center or customer service environment
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service tools
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

As an Independent Contractor with blithequark, you'll be responsible for your own tax obligations and will submit invoices and receive payment for completed services. Programs have varying pay structures, but most programs pay for time spent talking on the phone and assisting callers. You may also receive performance-based pay or other incentives.

Application and Certification Process

To become an Independent Contractor with blithequark, you'll need to complete the following steps:

  • Complete an application to join Liveops Nation, which includes passing a background/credit check
  • Pay a $45 processing fee directly to our vendor
  • View our background and credit check requirements
  • Sign an Independent Contractor Agreement
  • Complete a W9 form
  • Opportunities that you choose may have additional requirements, including certification specific to a program

Program Metrics Requirements

Some programs may require Independent Contractors to provide services above posted minimum standards to maintain eligibility. These requirements will be outlined in the program details and will be communicated to you prior to starting work.

Availability

As an Independent Contractor with blithequark, you'll have the flexibility to choose your own schedule, working in 30-minute blocks. Client call availability will vary and is subject to change, but generally calls are available daily from 8am to 8pm EST. Several clients also offer 24/7 call availability.

Technology Needed for Success

To succeed as an Independent Contractor with blithequark, you'll need to have access to a reliable computer and internet connection, as well as the following technology:

  • A Windows-based computer (Liveops systems are not currently compatible with Mac or Chromebook)
  • A headset or other audio equipment
  • A quiet and distraction-free workspace
