Role Summary

As a Remote Online Chat Agent, you will be responsible for responding to live chat inquiries from customers worldwide. You will rely on scripted responses and company workflows to deliver consistent and professional support. Your primary goal will be to provide timely and effective solutions to customer issues, ensuring a positive experience and building trust in our brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to live chat inquiries quickly and professionally, using scripted responses and company workflows

  • Assist customers with password resets, billing updates, and subscription changes, ensuring accurate and efficient resolution
  • Follow company scripts and standard operating procedures to maintain consistency and quality
  • Document conversations and escalate issues as necessary, ensuring seamless issue resolution
  • Maintain a courteous and empathetic communication style, providing a positive experience for customers

Technical & Skills Requirements

• Laptop or desktop computer with Google Chrome

  • Reliable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps)
  • Typing speed of 45 WPM or higher
  • Excellent written English communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly
  • Ability to multitask and follow instructions, ensuring efficient issue resolution

Compensation & Scheduling

• Starting pay: $25/hour

  • Raises available to $30–$35/hour after 30 QA-approved shifts
  • Shift selection is self-directed via online scheduler, with a minimum of 15 hours per week

Training & Onboarding

• 2-hour online onboarding session, providing an introduction to company policies and procedures

  • Practice chats with simulated customers, ensuring you're comfortable with our chat platform
  • First live shift monitored by QA, providing feedback and guidance
  • Paid work begins within 3–5 business days, allowing you to start earning quickly

Sample Shift

During a typical shift, you might assist customers resetting passwords, applying discount codes, and updating billing information – all via live chat using company-approved templates. Our chat platform is designed to be user-friendly, making it easy to navigate and resolve customer issues efficiently.
