Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Customer Service/Sales Representative – Supplemental Benefits Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Reaching out to individuals who have requested more information on the benefits we offer, and scheduling Zoom meetings to discuss their needs and options
- Customizing new benefit plans and adjusting existing plans to fit the current needs of each client
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients, providing attentive customer service and administrative support as needed
- Performing benefit reviews for existing clients, as well as helping with any necessary claims or adjustments
- Responding to and resolving client questions and concerns regarding their benefits
- Ensuring that all documentation is accurate and complete, and performing any necessary updates on schedule
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, with experience using CRM software and other technology tools
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor's degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
- Experience working in the benefits or insurance industry
- Familiarity with supplemental benefits and related products
- Certification in customer service or sales, such as CSCP or CSFP
- Experience using Zoom or other video conferencing tools
- Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

- Weekly performance-based pay and bonuses, on average, $65,000 to $68,500 first year
