This is an end-to-end role that requires a strategic and execution-focused individual who can partner closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve key metrics such as speed-to-quote, quote accuracy, and quote conversion.

About the Role: Senior Full Stack Product Designer – Customer Experience

As a Senior Full Stack Product Designer at blithequark, you will be responsible for creating a strong design vision and aligning it with product and engineering to realize the vision. You will partner with our data and marketing teams to translate user insights into design strategy, collaborate to build and refine a new design language system, and evangelize design across the organization. Your expertise will be crucial in refining and evolving our existing CX design language, developing research plans, and defining success metrics for customer experience across our CX products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a strong design vision and the corresponding alignment with product and engineering to realize the vision.
  • Partner with our data and marketing teams to help translate user insights into design strategy.
  • Collaborate to build and refine a new design language system that spans across our CX products.
  • Evangelize design across the organization and promote a culture of user-centered design.
  • Refine and evolve our existing CX design language to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Develop research plans and execute them to better understand our user’s desires and motivations.
  • Define and track success metrics for customer experience across our CX products.
  • Help us ideate on and deploy new design processes into our development cycle.

Requirements for Success

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 3-5 years of product design experience, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your design skill and an understanding of user-centered design.
  • A track record of delivering successful consumer-facing products and features.
  • A strong systems thinker with experience working within product ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — clear, concise, and collaborative.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Startup experience, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with working in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
  • Experience within financial technology, with knowledge of insurance compliance, underwriting, or rating methodologies.
  • Experience with navigating complex compliance requirements and ensuring that design solutions meet regulatory standards.
  • Knowledge of design tools and technologies, such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and InVision.
