Venture Partner - Principal Join the first Impact Venture Capital platform and be part of next generation innovation marketplace. With labs based at Stanford & MIT Innovation Park, you will work remotely and meet occasionally onsite "Portfolio startup or corporate customers, OneTraction team or its global investors”. We are impact focused and vertically integrated supporting five industries (Enterprise, Consumer “including all area with FinTech”, Health, Energy and Hardware) through deep tech and emerging tech disruptive innovation. We serve startup from idea through unicorn and post IPO stage till exit. Your will join at a leadership level P/T or F/T, where you own assigned portfolio and grow it through exit. To succeed in this role, you must have strong local network and growing expertise in any of these areas, where you execute each stage of your portfolio (Product Innovation, Corporate Development, Business Development with GTM Alliance, Investing, Fundraising, and M&A Exit), along deep know how acquired within tier one global fortune 500 companies, consulting firm, successful startup, or science-based innovation. Ideally you are a global citizen, have a graduate level education from top institution, and you are firmly anchored to incrementally change the world positively as a legacy. You will be responsible for formulating and leading your portfolio global strategy and execution. Success in this position will be measured by the creation of long term stakeholders value with positive impact through your execution roadmap. The primary objectives include:

  • Grow our Corporate Program with Global Fortune 500 and develop a portfolio of startups to be presented to individual Fortune 500 clients, tailored to address specific business issues. Develop business cases as requested
  • Develop strategic alliance and exit strategies with our Startup Portfolio, and create GTM roadmap, by collaborating and aligning incentives with our stakeholders and clients at the product or services and industry level.
  • Nurture a deep relationship with top Venture Capital partners, Corporate Ventures and Top Universities Accelerators to speed innovative technologies commercialization.
  • Coordinate due diligence and drive the deal from sourcing to exit with Investment Banking and Top Law Firm partners.
  • Share emerging tech innovations insights to corporate executives via executive briefs and quarterly global events Experience, skills, and knowledge required ------------------------------------------
  • An outstanding performer with years of experience at a top tier academia, strategy consulting firm, venture capital / private equity firm or active M&A corporate development group
  • Demonstrated experience leading the strategic alliance and M&A process for opportunities focused on technology spaces that align with corporate clients focus. The ideal candidate will have managed transactions that range in size and complexity; proven ability to execute from start to finish (or know when to walk away from a deal)
  • Advance knowledge of financial and deal modeling as well as quantitative analysis for corporate development
  • Strong ability to think strategically and direct others in solving complex business problems under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong writing and the ability to create top-notch presentations and materials that provide business insight that is relevant and digestible to executive decision-makers
  • Proven ability to lead, recruit, retain and mentor high performing analyst teams
  • Aggressive yet regarded as ethical and fair in the industry. Confident but not arrogant
  • MBA, PhD, MD or JD from top business school is preferred, along with large local network Requirements: Curious, proactive, you must work autonomous, self-reliant with little guidance or supervision where you jump on the train running and start creating value from day one to all stakeholders involved in your portfolio.
