Lecturer

Job Title: Lecturer Department: Department of Architecture and Design Job Description: The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) is seeking to recruit a Lecturer for the Department of Architecture and Design. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses, conducting research, and contributing to the overall academic and administrative functions of the department. Responsibilities: - Teaching undergraduate courses in architecture, interior design, and/or landscape design - Developing and updating course materials, including lectures, tutorials, and assessments - Supervising and mentoring students in their academic and research activities - Conducting research and publishing in peer-reviewed journals and conferences - Participating in departmental and university-level committees and initiatives - Providing academic advising and support to students - Engaging in community outreach and service activities Requirements: - Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Design, or a related field - Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the university level - Demonstrated expertise in design, and/or related areas of architecture, interior design, or landscape design - Strong research and publication record in the field - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, multicultural environment - Proficiency in English language (both written and spoken) About UAEU: UAEU is the oldest and largest public university in the United Arab Emirates, and is ranked among the top universities in the region.
