About the Role: As a Sr. Product PR and Media Relations Manager you will help shape and amplify narratives around CrowdStrike's industry-leading products, platform, and business to drive the company's next phase of growth. This role reports to the Senior Director of Public Relations and Media Strategy. It requires a results-driven cybersecurity PR specialist who excels at both translating complex technical concepts into value-driven messaging, and placing high-impact media coverage that resonates with customers, analysts, investors, and the broader market You'll collaborate closely with product marketing, technical stakeholders, and business leaders to position key innovations and corporate narratives to market through crisp, compelling storytelling that drives competitive differentiation and positions CrowdStrike at the forefront of cybersecurity.   • Develop and execute product public relations strategies aligned with core business objectives and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Translate technical capabilities and corporate milestones into clear, differentiated narratives that resonate across media, customers, analysts, and investors.
  • Manage and build relationships with media and influencers to drive meaningful coverage.
  • Support the creation of product- and corporate-focused thought leadership, press releases, messaging, proactive storytelling, and media campaigns.
  • Help equip regional PR agencies with messaging and assets to ensure consistency and drive high-impact results.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor announcements, and emerging technologies to identify proactive storytelling opportunities.

What You'll Need:

  • 10-14+ years of PR experience with at least 5 years in security - current security PR role and direct experience in a product / media engagement role strongly preferred. Former agency experience is a plus.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Deep experience and understanding of the cybersecurity industry.
  • Current experience managing media relationships and a network of media contacts.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex technical concepts into engaging narratives and thought leadership that results in high-impact media coverage.
  • Experience crafting product / corporate messaging that highlights customer value, business impact, and market differentiation.
  • A collaborative mindset, with experience working across product, marketing, and communications teams.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with urgency and accountability.

Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $130,000 - $200,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
