About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will perform all customer service and collection duties that occur in Revenue Cycle with knowledge of all areas of Patient Financial Services. This is a remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while still being part of a dynamic and innovative team.

Job Summary

The Customer Service Specialist performs all customer service and collection activities across the Revenue Cycle. Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering patient questions regarding statements
  • Posting guarantor payments
  • Setting up payment plans within our policies
  • Researching and resolving issues with accounts that have been identified by patients
  • Reaching out to appropriate departments to resolve any requests made by patients
  • Connecting patients with financial counseling department for charity screening
  • Communicating patient balances
  • Meeting collection goals as set by department
  • Providing excellent customer service for all of our patients

You will also communicate and partner with other areas of arenaflex and Revenue Cycle to resolve customer service issues and perform other duties as assigned.

Employment Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the healthcare industry
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Critical thinking and problem resolution skills
  • Experience in customer service and call center operations is preferred
  • Knowledge of physician and hospital operations, compliance, and provider relations is also preferred
