Job Summary Progressive Technology is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Pharmacy Operations Lead to oversee and streamline our pharmacy operations. This pivotal role involves leading a team to ensure efficient and compliant processes across pharmacy services, improving operational performance, and driving excellence in customer and patient care. Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily operations of the pharmacy team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to regulatory standards.

Monitor and improve operational processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

  • *

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, procurement, compliance, and clinical services to support integrated care models.

  • *

Analyze operational metrics and implement improvements based on data-driven decisions.

  • *

Oversee inventory management and vendor coordination to ensure timely availability of medications and supplies.

  • *

Ensure all pharmacy practices align with company policies, federal/state regulations, and industry standards.

  • *

Train, mentor, and support the development of pharmacy staff; foster a culture of performance and continuous improvement.

Handle escalated operational issues, perform root cause analyses, and implement sustainable solutions.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • *

Bachelors degree in Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (PharmD preferred).

  • *

Current and valid pharmacist license is a plus but not mandatory.

  • *

Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, healthcare compliance, and regulatory standards.

  • *

Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams.

  • *

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • *

Effective communication skills with ability to collaborate across departments.

  • *

Proficient in pharmacy management software and data analytics tools.

  • Experience
  • *

Minimum of 5 years in pharmacy operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Experience in a healthcare technology or managed care environment is highly desirable.

  • *

Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, FDA, and DEA standards.

  • Working Hours
  • *

Full-time position (40 hours/week)

  • *

Monday to Friday, standard business hours with flexibility based on operational needs

  • *

Occasional weekend or extended hours may be required during peak times
