Job Responsibilities

As a Generative AI Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

• Customer Advisor: Implement and install the latest state-of-the-art system learning algorithms under Gen AI, building prototypes, and proof-of-concepts, and discovering new solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
• Thought Leadership: Evangelize AWS GenAI offerings and share best practices through various channels, including AWS blogs, white papers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit and AWS re: Invent.
• Partner with Specialist Architects, Sales, Business Development, and the AI/ML Service groups to boost client adoption and provide guidance on their client engagements.
• Act as a technical liaison between clients and the AWS SageMaker services groups to provide client-driven product development feedback.
• Develop and maintain an AWS internal network of ML-associated challenges to be counted as professionals worldwide.
• Create area enablement materials for the wider SA population, to assist them in understanding how to combine Amazon Web Services GenAI solutions into client architectures.

Key Skills and Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience as a data scientist

• 3+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience with system knowledge/statistical modeling statistics evaluation tools and techniques, and parameters that affect their performance
• Master's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science
• 2+ years of experience studying and applying big language and generative AI models
• Strong background in Natural Language Processing, including experience with text representation, language modeling, sequence-to-sequence architectures, and semantic understanding
• 3+ years of experience in technical architecture, design, deployment, and operational level expertise

Preferred Qualifications

* Active participation in the open-source network, including HuggingFace, StableDiffusion, etc.

• Large models pre-train/fine-tuning experience, familiar with distributed training
• Customer-facing abilities to represent AWS properly in the client's surroundings and drive discussions with senior employees concerning trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges in an organization's environment
• Track record of concept management and innovation around Machine Learning
• Experience with LangChain, LLAMAIndex, Foundation version tuning, Data Augmentation, and Performance Evaluation frameworks
• Led a cloud initiative as an AWS client or consulting with a client of their own IT transformation
