Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Accurately entering prescription and patient information into our pharmacy database
- Verifying the accuracy and completeness of prescription orders
- Processing and managing insurance claims and prior authorizations
- Collaborating with pharmacists and healthcare providers to clarify prescription details when needed
- Maintaining patient records and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations
- Upholding patient confidentiality and data security standards
- Assisting in inventory management and other pharmacy-related tasks as required
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or in the process of obtaining certification
- Prior experience in pharmacy data entry is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of pharmacy software and prescription processing systems
- Familiarity with insurance claim processing is a plus
