Job Summary

We're seeking an Experienced Data Annotation Supervisor to lead our Autopilot Information Explanation group. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing a medium-sized group of annotators, ensuring that they meet high standards of accuracy and productivity. You'll work closely with designers and Autopilot authorities to develop and implement explanation approaches, and collaborate with other teams to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities

* Direct continuous execution management in the group: create training plans, track progress, and complete monthly Expert and Lead performance reports.

• Assess daily execution in proprietary software, report daily summaries and group metrics.
• Work directly with designers and Autopilot authorities to own explanation approaches that require a deep understanding of both technical and functional imperatives.
• Have a strong understanding of project rules to be able to convey naming guidelines effectively, identify shortcomings, and assist with creating documentation and training materials.
• Execute appropriate headcount distribution between Quality Control, Naming, and focus on work lines daily as coordinated by leadership.
• Ensure documentation and daily planning for the group is precise and consistently updated.
• Other administrative responsibilities, such as employee development, conducting bi-yearly performance reviews, and monthly performance registrations with Group Leads and Information Explanation Subject Matter Experts.
• Recognize employees on a monthly basis who consistently exceed expectations.
• Tutor direct reports, ensuring the group functions as a cohesive unit.
• Precisely manage timekeeping and attendance through the Kronos system.

What You'll Bring

* Experience managing and inspiring medium-sized groups that perform manual tasks.

• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks by order of importance and completing them efficiently.
• Commitment to data accuracy and throughput.
• Strong critical thinking skills, with a capacity for rapidly learning new systems.
• Demonstrated history executing and meeting tight deadlines.
• Experience managing multiple competing projects with limited resources.
• Strong communication and presentation skills – able to explain complex subjects and ideas in a clear and concise manner.
• Proficiency in standard workflow software (JIRA, Success, etc.).
