Job Summary

As an Experienced Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and prescribers, handling high-volume client requests, and working under direct supervision. You will be accountable for utilizing arenaflex's solution information entry strategies and rules to process new patient enrollment, handle patient medication requests, and enter top-off orders for processing. Your duties may change based on the assigned department.

Key Responsibilities

* Utilize arenaflex's solution information entry strategies and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the proper system.

  • Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter top-off orders for processing.
  • Investigate to obtain missing pharmacy data, and decipher clinical abbreviations (SIG codes).
  • Resolve all information entry-related exceptions.
  • Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and resolve outbound decisions to prescribers and patients based on the situation.
  • Resolve Outsider Oddballs by inspecting, gathering data, making adjustments, and resubmitting for processing as per individual arrangement requirements.
  • Resolve phone decisions to guarantors and others to acquire data, gain supersede endorsement, or otherwise resolve the Outsider Oddballs.
  • Provide support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those in other areas.
  • Recognize and convey issues to senior-level staff as fitting.
  • Acquire a dynamic pharmacist license or certification within the initial 90 days, and maintain a current pharmacist license or certification.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Basic computer skills (e.g., start and close down computer, use the mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between programs, save files, print reports, and access data online).
  • Basic web search skills to include opening a program, typing in URLs in the correct field, using a web search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
  • Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing reports).
  • Ability to communicate in writing and verbally.
  • 18 years old or older.

Preferred Qualifications

* At least 1 year of pharmacy experience in a retail or call center environment.

  • At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with a certification/enrollment by the state as granted by the State Board for Pharmacy or widely recognized certification agency.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
  • Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, designing reports).
  • Familiarity with Spanish and English.
