Job Summary
As a Full Stack Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex, you will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, operating pharmacy systems, and providing patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities
* Assist pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, including reviewing and processing prescriptions, filling prescriptions, and verifying medication accuracy
- Operate pharmacy systems, including entering patient and medication information, and processing prescriptions
- Provide patient-centered care, including greeting patients, answering questions, and resolving issues
- Develop strong relationships with patients and healthcare professionals
- Participate in pharmacy operations, including inventory management, ordering, and stocking
- Assist with administrative tasks, including answering phones, handling customer inquiries, and completing paperwork
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information and medication lists
- Comply with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and OSHA
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification preferred
- 6 months of experience in a retail or healthcare environment; pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications
- Proficiency in computer systems and software, including pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a related field
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures
- Familiarity with pharmacy systems and software
- Experience with inventory management and ordering
