Visual Designer for Management Training Decks

Remote · USA Full-time New today

We are seeking an experienced visual designer to create engaging and visually appealing slides for our management training programs. You will transform existing text-based content into compelling presentations that enhance learning and retention. Your design will need to reflect professionalism and clarity while maintaining brand consistency. Familiarity with training concepts and the ability to convey complex ideas visually is a plus. If you're passionate about design and have a knack for making information visually engaging, we would love to see your portfolio! Lever Talent is a leadership and talent strategy firm that helps businesses deploy technology-enabled talent strategies so leaders and teams can unlock their full potential and spur growth in any market. The company’s mission is to help leaders realize they are capable of far more than they imagine by bringing humanity back to business and aligning people strategy with business strategy. Role Overview Transform leadership and management concepts into visually engaging, easy-to-grasp learning aids (diagrams, models, frameworks, process visuals, etc.) for use in live and virtual training. Design cohesive presentation decks (primarily in PowerPoint or Google Slides) that enhance understanding, retention, and discussion for leaders at multiple levels. Collaborate with instructional designers and facilitators to refine visual metaphors, information hierarchy, and layout so that each slide has a clear “teaching job.”

Key Responsibilities

Interpret written facilitator guides, outlines, and rough sketches into polished, on-brand visual narratives. Develop slide templates and repeatable visual systems that support a full leadership course (e.g., comparison frames, journey maps, competency “cards,” before/after states). Create icons, diagrams, and infographics that explain leadership competencies, behaviors, frameworks, and processes in a way that busy managers can quickly grasp. Ensure all materials are visually consistent with Lever Talent’s brand and accessible for both in-person and virtual learning environments. Iterate on designs based on feedback from the Lever Talent team, maintaining version control and clear file organization. Ideal Candidate Profile 4+ years of experience in graphic design, with a strong emphasis on presentations, eLearning, or instructional/communication design. Demonstrated ability (via portfolio) to turn complex, abstract concepts into simple, elegant visuals that support learning and decision-making. Expert-level skills in PowerPoint and/or Google Slides; proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud or similar tools for creating supporting assets; proficiency with Rise Articulate. Comfort collaborating with non-designers (consultants, facilitators, subject matter experts) and asking clarifying questions to get to the core idea. Strong sense of visual hierarchy, typography, color, and information design, with an eye toward clarity over decoration. Contract Details Temporary contract (project-based) focused on a new leadership course, with potential for additional projects as our offerings grow. Remote work with flexible hours; collaboration will occur via Zoom and shared cloud documents. Competitive project rate commensurate with experience and portfolio. If you are a graphic designer who loves using visuals to make complex ideas “click” for learners, and you want to support a company that is reimagining the future of work and leadership, Lever Talent would love to hear from you. Please submit your portfolio (with at least three presentation or learning-design examples), a brief note about your approach to visualizing concepts, and your proposed hourly or project rate. Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
