Job Overview

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service to arenaflex customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will handle a wide range of customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide timely and effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

  • Handle heavy phone traffic and respond to customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
  • Perform routine office duties, including providing phone, electronic, and face-to-face support to customers
  • Process customer requests, including utility account connects, disconnects, and transfers, as well as billing and payment arrangements
  • Receive, maintain, and account for monies for utilities, and provide payment receipts
  • Assist with interdepartmental cash and reporting/tracking functions, and process commercial account set-ups
  • Explain available services, calculate associated costs, and complete service contracts
  • Process, log, and file customer requests, and maintain accurate records and update personal data on accounts as needed
  • Assist peers with questions, errors, and escalated customer issues, and serve as a back-up to senior customer service representatives

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least one year of customer service experience, with six months of cash handling experience
  • Any combination of related education, experience, certifications, and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, as well as arenaflex policies and procedures
  • Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Office 365 and other software systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a similar industry
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 and other software systems
  • Experience with cash handling and accounting procedures
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
